Wire Forms

Wire Diameters: Linkway pre-approved Wire Form facilities make custom wire forms with wire diameters form 0.008″ up to 0.5 of an inch (0.20 mm to 12.7 mm).
If you requirements are outside this range, send us your specifications and we will advise if any of our facilities can help, or if we know of a facility outside of our network who can.

Wire Form Materials: The most common materials we use for wire forms are cold rolled steel, stainless steel and hard drawn materials.

Wire Form Production: Our facilities use CNC wire formers, tabletop benders, kick presses, fourslides and hand jigs, to make custom wire forms. Secondary operations used include tap, drill, machine, swage, clamfer, thread and welding.

Finishes: Finishing processes include heat treatment, shot peen, tumble, stress relief, plate, powder coat, passivate, electropolish, dye or paint, and plastic coat.
